System Features

The Rexpert System is loaded with features that allows your staff to function at optimum efficiency with minimal management
intervention. Here are just a few of the many Rexpert System features.

Auditability - The operator, date entered and date changed is recorded on every transaction. On each patient every change is saved. If a question arises or a review is needed, this information shows exactly what happened and when.

Accountability - The system tracks the activities of the users within the system by their password. This allows you to identify areas and members of your staff that require further training or supervision.

Security - Users of the Rexpert System can be restricted to various levels of access within the system.

Clinical Features - Embedded within the Standard Rexpert System are many clinical features that are extra in other systems. Beyond the standard package there is a complete Clinical Tracking and Outcomes Package available ClinTrax.

Reports - The Rexpert System allows the generation of a myriad of reports, presenting the requested information in clear, understandable and usable formats.

Notes - The notes capability is unlimited and has proven to be an excellent communication system. Notes are categorized, and where indicated, internal messages will automatically display when ever that patient, payor, or referral source is referenced in inquiry, charge and payment entry, and scheduling.

Help - As an operator moves through the various screens, help messages are field sensitive and are displayed automatically. This can reduce time wasted over minor data entry issues.

Patient Registration - is fast and accurate. A patient can have multiple insurances, and coverage periods can be entered for each carrier. All changes to a patient’s account are made from one screen.

Refunds - A wide variety of options are available to handle overpayment quickly and properly. Options include refunds to any party, split refunds between two or more paying parties, transfer of the overpayment to one or more open claims on a patient’s account, or forfeit of the refund.

Payment /Credit Posting - All open charges are displayed on the payment entry screen. Specific charge categories can be selected, such as charges by payor, date of service, provider, financial class, division or department.

Billing - Bills are submitted automatically and the user defines the next step in the event that payment is not received. Each payor is handled exactly as required through the expert logic. “On Demand” bills are available in various levels of detail.

Collections - Collection letters can be produced, automatically using word processing, as a follow up to normal account statement billing.

Scheduling - The scheduler accommodates appointment, surgery and out of office schedules. It contains all the sophistication found in on-line schedulers but still has the look and feel of an appointment book.

Scanning - Document scanning is supported at the patient level, allowing digital storage of patient Insurance and ID cards, referral letters and all other scanned items.
