Turnkey Solution for Ambulatory Surgery Services Practice Alternatives, Inc. can oversee every aspect in the development of an Ambulatory Surgery Center. PAI is responsible for ensuring that the following tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner:- Space planning to meet all appropriate requirements. PAI will select and work closely with an architect to ensure the facility meets current AIA guidelines and that the facility layout maximizes operational efficiencies
- Interface with legal and accounting professions as needed
- Review and select a qualified contractor
- Oversee architect and contractor to ensure compliance with all appropriate regulations
- Meetings with physicians to discuss project in detail and to explain the financial projections and assumptions
- Equipment planning including selection of medical and non-medical equipment
- Obtain financing for construction, equipment and operating capital
- Provide all manuals required for licensing (i.e. Policy and Procedures, Quality Improvement, Risk Management, HIPAA, etc.)
- Hire and orient nursing and administrative staff
- Assist with marketing materials and activities
- Establish fee schedules
- Guide the certification and licensing process from application to successful survey

- Arrange contractual agreement with anesthesia provider
- Negotiate contracts for third party payors, professional and ancillary services
- Assist surgery center in credentialing
- Provide billing services and accounts receivable management
- Install a practice management system (hardware and software)
- Provide medical transcription services
- On-going management services
